Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May 1998, in Minsk Belarus. Aryna is the holder of twelve WTA Singles titles. One that was awarded the title 'Grand Slam' at the Australian Open 2023. Doubles is an additional area in which she excels. In the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021, US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Mertens. Together with her fellow Belgian tennis champion, the Belgian also won the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019 thus making her the Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples competing in the women's doubles. In January 2023, she achieved her highest rank in singles. On the 23rd of August, 2021 she was promoted into the top two spot of world rankings. That same year she took home the title the title in Melbourne in the following year, and then was ranked number one on the planet when it comes to doubles. She was coached by an ex- Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the 2019 season, and in part at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach for her from the month of August to September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach as of at the beginning of 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova have been her inspirations.
